The lists of Manufacturer Identification Code/Number in Annex 1 and Annex 2 are removed to avoid frequent revisions of this standard document. The lists are managed and maintained by the team in charge at ARIB.

4.0 07.26.2018

Annex 2 "Digital Low-Power Community Radio System"is added, which specifies the system functionality and technical requirements of the radio equipment suitable for the enhanced application of this specific low-power radio system to the local community radio services.

This is a major revision, as it enables new services in the area of local community radio system to improve the safety and the peace of mind as to the aged people living in the region.

3.0 07.27.2017

According to partial revision to the Regulations for Enforcement of the Radio Law (MIC No.83, August 31, 2016), etc., this ARIB standard is renamed from "Animal Detection Report System" to "Person/Animal Detection Report System".

Increase the planned frequency band and transmission channels, narrows the occupied bandwidth, and shortens transmission time.

Also, this standard contains the specification for "mountain climber detection report system" which is applied the Person/Animal Detection Report System to the field of mountaineers' distress rescue.

2.1 07.03.2015 Necessary Revision for the items concerning the transmission time control, and the like is made to cope with the upgrade of the system in MIC (Notification of MIC No. 281, August, 2014).
