General Description

This standard specifies air interface of Digital Mobile Communication System employing TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access) system for Local Government among narrowband digital communication systems using 260 MHz band defined in Article 57-3-2 of the Ordinance Regulating Radio Equipment.

(In addition, this standard corresponds to the system employing 4-level digital modulation (π/4 shift QPSK) method and having 25kHz channel separation in the above Article of the Ordinance).

Fascicle 1 defines general descriptions, system outline, technical requirements for the equipment and communication methods.

Fascicle 2 specifies voice coding scheme and measuring method, and adds Glossary, Annex, Description and Appendix

- Change the name of standard from “Digital Mobile Telecommunication System for Municipality TYPE 1” to “Digital Mobile Telecommunication System for Local Government TYPE 1”
