General Description | This document defines the standard measurement methods for evaluating the suitability of the portable wireless terminal such as a mobile phone for the local absorption guidelines. Defined are the methods of measurements and evaluation, as well as the calculation of total irradiation ratio during multiband simultaneous transmission, for the specific absorption rate (SAR) at frequencies below 6GHz and the relative incident power density at frequencies above 6GHz. |

In more concrete, based on the report from Information and Communications Council, clarifying the targeting object is radio equipment in the proximity within 20 cm of human body, and extending the upper limit of frequency band from 3 GHz to 6 GHz (for portable device and the like used closely to temporal area of human body the upper limit is 3 GHz), change the related descriptions. |
