This standard specifies the radio interface between a base station and a radio pager, etc. in the radio paging system based on POCSAG method operating at 512 bps / 1200 bps in the 280 MHz band which is compliant with the Article of 49-5 of the Ordinance of Regulating Radio Equipment (including relevant Notification of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications).

The standard specifies the system outline, technical requirements, signaling system and measurement methods of the radio paging system based on POCSAG method.
