---|---|---|
1.3 | 03.24.2017 | The adjustment method of the reproduction level of the monitor speaker is made adequate. |
1.2 | 07.06.2016 | When a broadcasting station produces stereophonic programs and 5.1ch surround programs, it might also produce monophonic programs at the same time by a down-mix. But the formula for the down-mixt has not been clarified. This revision clarifies it by adding a simple conversion formula. This formula adds stereo signals, then makes its level to 1/2. With this conversion, a loudness after the monophonic conversion satisfies the loudness specification in ARIB TR-B32. Also the level of the narration in the right and left channels with same phase is kept unchanged through the monophonic conversion. |
1.1 | 03.19.2013 | In ARIB STD-B21, a revision to abolish whole coefficient 1/ √ 2 at the time of the down-mix is carried out. To follow the revision, basic commentary of the down-mix for the appropriate production and operation is added in this report. Also it is revised to prevent overflow from the down-mix using the loudness and the true peak level. |
