1. Overview
TR Number | ARIB TR-B23 |
---|---|
Technical Report Name | Operational Guidelines for Ancillary Data in Inter-Stationary Information Exchange |
Enactment Date | 11.27.2002 |
General Description | This technical report defines a multiplex method and operational guidelines to transmit various data in inter-stations through bit serial interfaces including the 525/60 television component bit serial interface and the 1125/60 HDTV bit serial interface. An ancillary data packet transmitted in the blanking interval of a video signal is used. To follow the specification of the report, the number and the position of the ancillary data packet of an inter-stations control signal transmitted between stations and subtitling data can be confirmed to make it easy to handle the ancillary data packet in the transmission and reception. This technical report is applied to broadcasting equipment to transmit digital data in inter-stations using the ancillary data packet of bit serial interfaces including ARIB STD-B6 “Ancillary Data Packet and Space Formatting of Bit-serial Digital Interface for 525/60 Television System” and ARIB/ BTA S-005B “Ancillary Data Packet and Space Formatting of Bit-serial Digital Interface for 1125/60 HDTV Systems.” |
