Standard Name | Time Code Format in the Interface for UHDTV Production Systems |
Enactment Date | 12.03.2015 |
General Description | This standard specifies data structure and multiplexing method for timecode transmission in the interface of studio equipment for the ultra-high definition television (UHDTV) signal. Data structure is a packet structure of 64 bits which is called time information packet, and time code data is transmitted in progressive scanning system of which video frame frequency is 60Hz or 60/1.001Hz. There are user data words (UDW) in the structure of time information packet, and three kinds of data in UDW: time code data, time information data identification code 1 (DBB1) and time information data identification code 2 (DBB2) are specified.
