| General Description | This standard specifies the system parameters essential for extended image dynamic range television (EIDRTV) including system colorimetry, signal format and digital representation when characterized by opto-electronic transfer function (OETF). And this standard is enacted aiming that program by this system is produced smoothly. This standard specifies colorimetry parameter, signal format and digital signal representation for EIDRTV, and about system parameters (such as spatial characteristics, time characteristics and so on of video) which are not provided in this, other television system standards shall be referred to. Also, this standard is supposed to be referred to by recommendation of International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and standard of ISO/IEC JTC1/SC29/WG11 (MPEG), and English version is official. |
