| General Description | This standard specifies the structure and the transmission method of supplemental signals transmitted with a packet type used by bit serial interface of the 525/60 television systems. This standard specifies the method with which the usual data of non video are multiplexed and transmitted in the part without the effective video area of bit serial digital interface, and corresponds to SMPTE 291M. This standard is applied to apparatuses with which supplemental signals are transmitted with the packet type in the 10 bit serial interface of 4:2:2 component signals and 4fsc composite signals in compliance with the standard of SMPTE 259M. |
