General Description | This standard specifies standard concerning transmission system for area broadcasting. Area broadcasting is the broadcasting service in a limited area for the receiver such as one segment cell-phone receiver for digital terrestrial television broadcasting using white space among allocated frequency in UHF band for digital terrestrial television broadcasting, and is enacted as general terrestrial broadcasting (notifying general broadcasting) in order to comply with the demand in specific small area, and is provided as secondary service for frequency allocation. About area broadcasting, there is a standard that it shall not give any trouble to operation of terrestrial basic broadcasting station which is primary service, and the conditions to use frequency is provided as the Ordinance. But standard transmission system was not provided, so the transmission system (involving conditions to use frequency) is provided as a standard. |
