General Description | This standard specifies video signal and coding system, audio signal and coding system, and multiplexing system of transmission signal for digital broadcasting, and this standard comprises the following three parts. Part 1: Video Signal and Coding System Part 2: Audio Signal and Coding System Part 3: Signal Multiplexing System Part 1 specifies video input format, video coding system, video compression and transmission procedures, signal structure after coding, and restrictions of video coding parameters. Part 2 specifies audio input signal, audio coding system, audio compression and transmission procedures, and restrictions of audio coding parameters. Part 3 specifies multiplexing system (transmission by TS packet, IP packet transmission by TS packet, IP packet transmission by TLV packet) and multiplexing signal format. |
