Test procedures for compatibility confirmation of “Electronic Toll Collection System” is evaluated as a conformity confirmation of radio segment interface specified in ARIB Standard “Compatibility confirmation in Electronic Toll Collection System (ARIB STD-T55)”. This test procedure is requested to perform on every type approval with and /or without standard options.

In precedent of this test, it is premised that conformity confirmation of this ARIB Standard should be done on each stage such as development or production by manufacture. Also, this test procedure specifies two test cases. One is the test with a compatibility confirmation tester, the other is the test with a network compatibility confirmation tester. Besides, Dedicated Short Range Communication System (ARIB STD-T75) is newly settled in line with the revision of Ordinance No.63 of Ministry of Public Management, Home Affairs, Post and Telecommunication (April 17th,2001), and ARIB STD-T55 is replaced with STD-T75. ARIB STD-T55 remains only for maintenance purpose.
